The impossibility of popularity
Beer + blogs + comment boxes = overexcited me
I need to address my late-night commenting problem. It is a matter of some urgency. None of this would happen if I had a Jeeves around to keep an eye on me.

BEING AN UNRELIABLE NARRATION OF BOOKS WHAT I HAVE READ RECENTLY
I AM READING THESE BOOKS NOW, AS WE INTERFACE
BOOKS NOT TO READ ON PORTUGUESE SUN HOLIDAY (BUT WHICH ARE EMINENTLY ENJOYABLE IN MORE MARITIME CLIMATES)
BOOKS I HAVE BEEN SLOWLY READING OVER THE LAST YEAR AND SUSPECT ARE TOO SMART FOR AN EOIN OF LITTLE BRAIN
BOOKS I HAVE READ TO IMPRESS INDIVIDUALS AND DINNER PARTY GROUPINGS. ALSO TO IMPRESS SELF. MIXED RESULTS
BOOKS THAT REALLY WEREN”T THAT GREAT AT ALL BUT I COULDN'T PUT DOWN. EVEN THOUGH, REALLY. THESE ARE NOW HIDDEN IN THE BOOKSHELF OF SHAME.
BOOKS THAT ARE OF THE SEQUENTIAL ART PERSUASION, WHAT I LOVE, INNIT.
BOOKS THAT I READ FOR “RESEARCH” AND ARE IN FACT SEVENTEEN KINDS OF BRILLIANT
BOOKS I READ BECAUSE THEY SOUNDED LIKE THE BOOK I’M WRITING, BUT HAPPILY AREN’T, WHILE REMAINING OF THEMSELVES, VERY ENJOYABLE
BOOKS THAT CAN ALSO BE USED IN SELF DEFENCE AND AS FLOATING AIDS SHOULD YOUR PLANE CRASH IN THE OCEAN AND YOUR LIFEJACKET FAIL TO INFLATE
BOOKS READ TO IMPRESS CELEBRITY ECONOMISTS AND SO KEEP SELF IN CHEESE AND WINE
BOOKS I OUGHT TO HAVE READ A LONG LONG TIME AGO
BOOKS I BOUGHT ON RECOMMENDATION (AND DID NOT REGRET)
BOOKS READ BECAUSE THEY HAD BEEN ON SHELF FOR YEARS AND SELF WAS BROKE
BOOKS READ BECAUSE OF PRESIDENTIAL INFATUATION
BOOKS READ OWING TO LONG-STANDING INSECURITY ABOUT NOT BEING DILIGENT ENOUGH IN COLLEGE (I.E. TOO LAZY TO READ COURSE SYLLABUS)
BOOKS READ OUT OF ENVY, JEALOUSY, RAGE
BOOKS READ BECAUSE SOONER OR LATER ONE OF US WILL BLINK FIRST
BOOKS I FORCED MY CHILDREN TO LISTEN TO ME READ
BOOKS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL I WISHED FOR IF I DESIRED PALE MORMON VAMPIRES AND WAS INTO ABSTINENCE.
BOOKS I READ IN DRAFT FORM
BOOKS THAT WERE FUNNY
BOOKS BOUGHT OUT OF OBSESSIVE FANDOM
BOOKS I TELL EVERYONE TO READ. OR WOULD, IF ANYONE ASKED ME WHICH BOOKS EVERYONE OUGHT TO READ. WHICH THEY DON'T DO OFTEN ENOUGH, IF YOU WANT MY OPINION
BOOKS YOU CAN USE FOR MORE THAN GEEKY SOCIAL CLIMBING (BUT CAN HELP IN THIS STRUGGLE ALSO)
BOOKS BOUGHT IN BOOKSHOP SUGAR RUSH THAT REMAIN UNREAD (UNTIL THE GUILT BECOMES TOO MUCH)
NEW BOOKS I CRAVE OWNERSHIP OF
ESSENTIAL BOOKS ABOUT MOUSTACHES
BOOKS I AM WRITING
Are in progress but not quite there yet. It'll be finished soon, honest.
